My name is Miguel Angel Sánchez-Tirado Machado, I'm from Spain, and I'm Bachelor of Mathematics at the National Distance Education University (Spain). This is a university which uses a methodology like the Open University in United Kingdom. Later, I got a Training of E.S.O., Bachillerato, F.P. and Language Secondary Teachers with speciality in Mathematics at the Autonomous University of Madrid. This Training is comparable to a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics in United Kingdom.
The purpose of this blog is to foster Mathematics and mathematical culture in society in order to achieve improving the knowledge of Mathematics in general, especially in undergraduate and graduate level. For this reason I'm working in the publication of Mathematics books on several branches of Mathematics. I've just published my first book, which is titled 'Multivariable Differential Calculus', and has been uploaded for sale in my bookshop. This book begins with notions about topology in the n-dimensional real euclidean space, then it goes on with continuity and differentiability, until it treats the main theorems of differential calculus of functions of several real variables, and their application to optimization of functions. And finally carries out an introduction to differential equations and differentiable manifolds.
I also take part in several groups of Linkedin about Mathematics such as 'American Mathematical Society', 'Friends of Mathematical Association of America', and 'Math, Math Education, Math Culture'.
